Are you an experienced procurement professional who enjoys building structure, challenging existing ways of working and creating measurable business value?

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join Bassadone Automotive Nordic and take ownership of developing our procurement practices across Finland and the Baltics.

As part of our Finance team, you will report to the CFO and work closely with different business functions across the organisation. This is a new role with a broad scope and a real opportunity to make an impact. You will bring structure and commercial discipline to procurement, develop our supplier and contract management practices, and help us ensure that purchasing decisions are transparent, cost-effective and aligned with our business needs.

Your key responsibilities

As Procurement Manager, you will:

• Review and develop our existing supplier and contract portfolio
• Lead sourcing, tendering and RFQ/RFP processes for significant purchases
• Negotiate commercial terms, including pricing, payment terms and service levels
• Develop procurement processes, approval practices and policies
• Build and maintain a structured approach to contract management, including contract ownership, terms and renewal dates
• Develop preferred supplier models and systematically monitor supplier performance
• Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and cost savings
• Develop category management across areas such as IT, marketing, real estate, logistics, vehicles and HR services
• Improve procurement reporting and provide management with visibility into spend, savings and contract status
• Ensure procurement policies and agreed practices are followed across the organisation.

What we are looking for

We believe you will succeed in this role if you have:

• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing or category management, preferably in a multi-site or international organisation
• Experience in running RFQ/RFP processes and negotiating commercial agreements
• Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills
• Experience in supplier relationship and performance management
• An analytical and structured way of working
• Confidence working with different stakeholders across finance, legal and business functions
• Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP or procurement systems is considered an advantage
• The ability to work independently and build new processes and structures from the ground up
• The confidence to challenge, negotiate and ensure agreed procurement practices are followed
• Fluency in both Finnish and English, as both languages are required in this role.

The position can be based in Vantaa, Finland or Tallinn, Estonia.
